Well, I’ve gotten through my first week of school without any real problems. Surprise, surprise! I guess the third time around is a charm, lol. Anyways, my classes are alright for the most part. American History is really hard and there’s unfortunately a lot of reading involved as well as several papers too. Thank God I’m taking it online, which gives me more leeway than if I was taking the course in class.

First Year Seminar is one of those classes that you wonder why you have to take it in the first place. I already know most of the stuff that’s in the course and the rest is just logic. I have to take it because it’s required as is all of my other courses, but this is one of those classes that I wish I could just skip. It’s pointless! It’s like the Pre-master Algebra class. It was supposed to be one of those classes to help you pass the regular Pre-Algebra class, but it ended up being just extra homework and a class that seemed utterly pointless to me.

Now my math class is an Advanced Algebra class. The one that I took last semester was a developmental class, which covered a lot of material and basically set us up for the advanced college level Algebra, which I’m currently in. Well, I’m just taking Part 1 of the Advanced level class right now. I still have the second part as well as Intermediate Algebra. After that I have to take an Algebra based Physics class along with one or two business math’s. Overall, I have to take a lot of freaking math classes, lol.

My current Algebra class is fun, but we don’t have to do homework, which sucks because that means we don’t get graded for it. I know to some people, having no homework is a good thing, but the homework grade can help your overall grade even if it’s only a little bit. The tests and the quizzes are what make the grade, which puts a lot of pressure on us, students. Thank God I did well in my last math class or else I’d be pretty much screwed right now.

Anyways, other than school I am happy to announce that I am getting a Mac book pro in two weeks. I am done with RAC and I’m currently working on a settlement deal with them. I was going to get the Iphone 5, but my carrier doesn’t carry the right sim card for them. I could get a cutter and cut the micro sim into a nano sim, but I’m a little skeptical about this. Anyways, I’m not sure what Mac book I’m going to get, but it’s going to be freaking better than what I have now.

My sisters of course basically say that I should just get a shitty computer, but potting out money for something that’s going to break down is just going to cost you more money in the long run. I’m done with PC. I’ve had three of them this year alone that have all broken down numerous times and have had to be fixed. My boyfriend has a Mac Pro and his has never broken down, crashed, ect…
I know the Macs are expensive, but sometimes you have to pay more to get more. If you don’t agree with me then that’s your prerogative, but I’m pretty much a gadget geek in a way and I know what works best for me. I love my apple products and they work really well for me.
